KENDAL and Settle will host iconic indie rock band The Twang this month.
The group will perform at Victoria Hall in Settle on August 24 and the Brewery Arts Center in Kendal on August 26.
This will be part of the National Trust Lottery’s Revive Live Tour, which will bring together both established and up-and-coming artists to perform and tour popular local music venues.
The National Lottery will partner with the Music Venue Trust to cover the production costs of these shows, and all ticket holders are entitled to 2-for-1 entry by showing they are a lottery player.
Speaking about playing as part of the tour, which supports the recovery of the grassroots music community, Charli XCX said: “I love playing Brighton and I’m so happy to be going there to support Concorde 2 and bring back some music. energy and fun in space.”
The National Lottery’s Revive Live Tour summer return will take place at popular concert venues across the UK between June and September, with the National Lottery directly covering touring and production costs.
More than 20,000 tickets – roughly half the capacity of these shows – will be offered to National Lottery players, giving music fans the opportunity to enjoy great music at their local venue at an affordable price.
Every National Lottery ticket holder who purchases a ticket will be invited to bring a friend for free – all they need to do to qualify for this offer is show a National Lottery ticket or scratch card bought in store or online/via the National Lottery app when they attend the concert.
